Jason Contreras

I am a native Angelino, hailing from a combination of East Los Angeles and West Covina.

I am a communication arts graduate of Otis College of Art and Design with 13 years of experience in web design, print media, entertainment marketing, shopper marketing, and augmented and virtual reality.

My design sensibility is clean and minimal although I can work in any style appropriate to the project. I strive to not only design something that is pleasing to the eye but also solves a problem in a clear and simple way.

As an Art Director, I aim to guild teams to effective strategic and design solutions that answer each brief. Working cross functionally with account, tech and social counterparts to understand and preserve a brands identity is paramount and finding creative ways to express and push the brand forward with those team members is where the excitement is.

Aside from design, in my free time I enjoy exploring California with my wife and daughters, learning about science, as well as playing guitar, and practicing woodworking.
